Resources

On this page, you'll find a variety of resources for prevention, early-intervention, and acute, emergent support. Everyone's story is different, but we hope this page can give you a place to start.

Here are some of the resources that have helped us when they were in need. Everyone's story is different, but we hope this page can give you a place to start.

Our organization is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our community. We aim to promote healing for both those harmed and our community as a whole.

Please note that while our process was built with input from experts in legal & social work, we are NOT trained professionals and we do not provide legal or medical advice. We do not assign guilt or innocence to an individual. We also do not conduct an "investigation" as we are not qualified to do so.

Our goals for responding to reports of misconduct are:

  • To ensure that every member of our community feels valued & safe

  • To ensure that we are continuing to partner and affiliate with organizations and individuals who uphold our values

  • To protect our community and organization from any potential risks or dangers

We encourage you to reach out to us if you think you have witnessed or experienced any form (intentional or unintentional) of discrimination, harassment, or assault. You do not have to have a specific request or goal in mind; we are happy to simply listen, talk to you about possible resources that have helped peers, or consider next steps. We will never take any action without your consent.

Callisto providers crucial support to survivors, families, and allies with proprietary tools, curated resources, and relationships with community partners. Every dancer and partner competition board member/liaison has lifetime access to Callisto if they log in using their school (.edu) email. Callisto's resources include:

  • A matching system to identify repeat perpetrators and 10 hours of free legal-options counseling to anyone who matches

  • An encrypted record form based off the forensic interview, a technique designed to reduce the amount of re-traumatization that a survivor experiences when they have to recount what happened during their assault

  • An allies guide created by mental health professionals, allies, and survivors to help allies support survivors and practice self-care

  • A survivors guide to Navigating the Impact of Campus Sexual Assault to educate survivors on how they can tap into their local campus and community networks to navigate these challenges.
